Miles Davis All Blues Chord and Scale Study
All Blues is a song written by Miles Davis in 1959 and is off the album kind of blue. This is a standard blues written in the 6/8 time signature. The only deviation from a traditional blues is the addition of the Eb7th chord which is a very nice addition to the tune. Asides from being a standard blues song its considered by many to be a standard as far as blues compositions that must be known. Many people want to learn how to play the blues. Although you can learn a lot from lessons you must also listen to the great blues players. Miles Davis was an incredibly hard working and talented musician who also got much of his influence by listening to the greats of his time.
