Scarborough Fair Beginning Chord Solo
Scarborough Fair is an English ballad written in the 18th century. Paul Simon among other recent artists have done variations of the song. It is a standard that every guitarist should know. In this video I will demonstrate the melody played without accompaniment and the melody played with chords at the same time (chord solo). The first time I will play it with the original melody .The second time I will alter the melody between octaves to demonstrate the other possibilities available. Lastly I will demonstrate a chord solo playing up and down the neck of the guitar as opposed to across the guitar. The tabs for the first two solos will be underneath the video for viewing. As usual keep on strumming and listening to the greats.
